Because keeping yourself safe and keeping your investment safe… is worth it! This is what guides North Star Home Inspections… our passion to preserve safe living and safe investing. Ironically, according to the National Safety Council, preventable accidents occur around the home happen every day in America:
“In 2021, an estimated 175,500 preventable injury-related deaths occurred in homes and communities, or about 78% of all preventable injury-related deaths that year… An additional 52,500,000 people suffered nonfatal medically consulted injuries. A home can easily and rapidly deteriorate to less than optimum value. Ask anyone who has owned a home for more than 12 months; leaks do not stop by themselves, cracks in a foundation sometimes grow and appliances and other systems need to be checked on a periodic basis. Homeowners do not often think of our homes as working against us, but a home can actually compromise your safety (e.g., mold and other organic substances, pests, exhaust and gas leaks, roof leaks, foundation cracks, structural defects, etc.).
North Star wants to change these statistics and make your home a place of vibrant living and safe investing. One of the most important ways is to call to your attention any maintenance issues with your home. Then, you can make wise choices as to when and where to apply attention, if needed.
You will be glad to have timely information for your largest financial asset. And how smart you are, since the Northern Virginia home market is one of the hottest in the nation. North Star will perform a thorough inspection and render to you a complete report. This will directly facilitate your safe living and even enhance your investment.
